Change of personnel at FinnAgora

Heljä Franssila, who was appointed Director of FinnAgora, the Finnish Institute in Hungary in the spring of 2023, left her position at the end of September 2023. The decision on the termination of the employment has been reached in a mutual agreement between the FinnAgora Foundation that operates FinnAgora in Hungary, and Heljä Franssila. Our autumn season is underway – join us!

During the Institute's autumn season, several Finnish artists will be visiting and working in Hungary. We are especially proud of the fresh collaboration with the Art Quarter Budapest artist residency. Expert visits to Helsinki will pave the way for the cooperation in the coming years. The Institute's social programme will include a project on minority languages towards the end of the year. We warmly welcome you to join our programme!
