The TelepArt travel grant is for performing artists who are traveling to perform in Finland from any of the following countries: Hungary, Romania, Croatia, Slovenia, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic. The grant can also apply to artists traveling from Finland to perform in any of the above-mentioned countries.
The artist performing must receive an artist fee for the performance and there must be a written or oral contract with the venue and organizer of the performance. The fee cannot be paid from the TelepArt grant.
The grant is only for travel costs, accommodation costs, or freight costs (for example for instruments). The grant can only be applied for if there is a performance. For example, the grant can not be applied for travel due to a gallery opening, to watch a performance, writing, residency program, masterclass, etc. The artist must be the one performing.
The maximum amount that can be applied for is €1000. The artist or organizer will receive the grant when receipts for the travel and other costs are shown. The grant will not be given before the actual travel.
