In February, FinnAgora was filled with excitement as two new employees joined our team. Nuutti started as a permanent producer, while Oskari began his five-month EDUFI internship.
"Hello! I'm Nuutti Päällysaho, and in February, I moved from the banks of the Aura River to the banks of the Danube to become FinnAgora’s new cultural producer. My background is in media studies, and I am currently pursuing my master’s degree in Cultural Production at Metropolia University of Applied Sciences. Before joining FinnAgora, I worked part-time at the Finnish Skateboarding Association, Kino Kilta cinema, and the Sibelius Museum as a museum assistant. I believe that my diverse work experience is united by a common thread—bringing people together around a shared experience.
I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in 2017 from Tampere University of Applied Sciences, majoring in Film and Television. As my graduation project, I directed the short film Maa ilman arvoja (A Land Without Values). Films, and later video art, have always inspired me on many levels—both through their impact and their escapist qualities. I am already looking forward to immersing myself in Finnish cinema as we begin planning the Finn Filmnapok 2026 film festival this fall!
It is incredibly interesting and exciting to gain insight into Hungarian culture and mindset from a completely new perspective through FinnAgora. Above all, I am a planner, and I enjoy the feeling when things fall into place. I believe that by experimenting, we can challenge norms, gain new perspectives, and discover sustainable ways of shaping our future.
Cooking and drawing are an essential part of my life. I have had a couple of solo exhibitions, and my work has also been featured in group exhibitions. I look forward to diving into the world of visual arts and delicious dishes while living in Budapest!
With an open mind towards new experiences—see you on the streets and alleys of Budapest!"

"I’m Oskari Nyyssölä, a master’s student in Art History at the University of Helsinki. Visual and performing arts hold a special place in my heart, but my interest in culture extends broadly, encompassing its diverse and often contradictory nature. I am currently writing my master’s thesis, which explores themes of belonging in contemporary audiovisual art.
In the cultural sector, I am particularly drawn to project management and production-related tasks, and I am extremely curious to get to know the local cultural scene better. FinnAgora seems like a perfect workplace—I have already spent a month getting familiar with my new job, the welcoming work community, and the charming city of Budapest! The city pulses with culture and history, and I can’t wait to explore the rest of its museums, galleries, and concert halls. Right now, it finally feels like the season is changing, with dust swirling in the streets and parks slowly turning green. With open arms and itchy eyes, I welcome everything that spring has to offer.
See you at our upcoming events!"
