Art & well-being webinar explores art therapy
FinnAgora is collaborating with Ludwig Museum on a webinar in Ped.kedd, the museum's series of art educational online events.
The topic of the next online Ped.kedd will be art therapy, the effect of art in improving physical and mental health. Our expert speakers will give you insight into the Finnish and Hungarian methods, discuss emerging trends and pass on their experiences to the participants.
Speakers:
Pauliina Lapio, art therapist, coach and trainer. She is currently working at Central Finland Hospital Nova as part of the Participatory Arts and Artist in Residence Program.
Hilkka Putkisaari, psychotherapist and art therapist, educator and writer. She has been involved in art therapy for 20 years as part of her own business.
Laura Somogyi and Eszter Wolf (Tuu 133) - painters and art therapists. Community art and experience play key roles in the participatory art projects of the Tuu 133 group.
