FINNOVATION Business Conference 12 June 2019

FinnAgora’s FINNOVATION Business Conference on  12 June 2019 brings the latest news of the Finnish innovative field to Budapest. We have invited Finnish experts and business specialists to speak about what is behind ’the Finnish Miracle’: how do startups work in Finland and in the Nordic countries and how innovations are born in Finnish companies. 

During the day-long conference, we will learn, for example, how to utilize ’sisu’ – the inner courage and fortitude – in entrepreneurship and what kind of possibilities human-centred data economy creates for future businesses. We will get insights into the new innovation model of Nokia and hear intriguing cases from fields such as EdTech, cleantech and food technology: are crickets and zero waste the way of the future?

The conference, organized in Budapest Music Center, includes capturing speeches (keynote speech delivered by Mikael Jungner, the Head of Kreab Helsinki), interesting case examples of Finnish startups and companies, and round-table discussions. Patrick Furu’s immersive workshop at the end of the day leads us to understand connections between jazz and 21. century leadership. The programme of the day is concluded by a jazz concert of the Finnish Jussi Fredriksson Trio at Opus Jazz Club.

The aim of FINNOVATION is to provide new insight and inspiration as well as hands-on tools, models, and networking opportunities to Hungarian business actors. Companies, startups, students – everyone interested in getting new ideas is welcome!
