Ville Andersson and Martta Tuomaala selected for the Art Quarter Budapest artist residency
Artists Martta Tuomaala and Ville Andersson will be working at the Art Quarter Budapest artist residency in Budapest in the autumn 2023. They will start their three-month long residency period on the 20th of September. A quick two-day open call for the residency was organized via FinnAgora’s channels at the start of August.

Monumental Finnish light installation takes over the air at the Inota Festival
Blue Pyramid, a new installation by world-renowned light artist Kari Kola can be seen for four nights from 31 August to 3 September at Inota Festival, on the site of a former thermal power plant in Várpalota. The Finnish artist, whose new production will be presented with the support of FinnAgora, the Finnish Institute in Hungary, has been working with light art for almost two decades.

Literature Night at the Budapest Zoo marked the end of the Institute's spring season
Other highlights of the spring season included the Finn Filmnapok film festival, the Taste Finland restaurant day and the Finnovation seminar. EUNIC's Literature Night culminated the Institute's spring season, after which the summer's exciting events got underway.
