This year we celebrate the 250th anniversary of the worlds’s first freedom of press and information act in Finland. To honour this jubilee UNESCO organised a large scale conference on the topic in Helsinki May 2016.

From Hungary Anita Kőműves (Népszabadság) and Árpád Tóta W. (HVG) participated in the conference. Finnagora has invited them to find out more on their experiences, what is the status of press and information freedom around the world today.
