The award winning Finnish movie The Blind Man Who Did Not Want to See Titanic directed by Teemu Nikki was screened at the Mozisziget event on Sunday the 6th of August.
The film is about Jaakko, a blind and paralyzed man who uses a wheelchair. He decides to go and see his love and to be able to get to her he needs to trust five strangers. The film won numerous awards and was screened at many international festivals.
The film was screened outdoors on the beautiful Margaret Island. The weather had been unstable and rain was on the way which led to fewer viewers than previous years, but the ones who came were more than pleased with the film.
We hope to continue screening Finnish films at the event in the future.
