Screening of the film Tove in Szeged

FinnAgora is screening the Finnish success movie “Tove” in Szeged in October. The movie is directed by Zaida Bergroth, and it is about Tove Jansson, the creator of the world famous cartoons Moomins. In the film, the artist (Tove) lives a free life in post-war Helsinki. Tove parties and lives in unconventional relationships, for example with a man, who is married to another woman. Her artistic identity is developing at the same time as her side project, drawings of the melancholic but witty Moomins starts to live its own life. 

The film is screened in Szeged at Belvarosi Mozi on Wednesday the 13.10 at 20:00. 

The film will also be screened in Budapest during Finn Filmnapok on 16.2-20.2.2022.
