FinnAgora, the Finnish Institute in Budapest, is looking for an event manager/communications coordinator for a fixed-term employment from 1st of August 2019 until 20th of June 2021. The employment contract may be continued by mutual agreement. The position is located in Budapest.

Event manager produces the institute’s program, seminars, and projects related to cultural import. The tasks include applying for funds and grants as well as reporting. Event manager also coordinates FinnAgora’s communications.

To succeed in this position, we expect knowledge of the Finnish society, Finnish cultural field and arts, project management skills, experience of applying for funds and grants, and relevant education. Previous experience of productional tasks is required. We are looking for an active person with initiative, content expertise, and excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.

The work requires excellent skills in English language and knowledge of Finnish and/or Hungarian language.
